4.2 AC Wiring

WARNING: Reconfirm that the circuit breaker to the grid/utility is switched OFF

before connecting the power wires from the breaker to the inverter AC terminal

block.

Use #10 AWG to #6 AWG, 90 °C (194 °F) copper wire for all AC wiring connections to the PVI

3000S-5300 inverters. You must choose the appropriate wire size based on local code

requirements. Designed voltage drop recommended to being no greater than 1%. Larger

conductors will be needed for longer wire runs.
